I started making handmade jewelry back in 1987 as a hobby learning from my buddy Johnny T (Blues Musician) and taking a few jewelry-making private lessons in Sausalito, CA. With funds short, I traded work for the needed tools/supplies with my friend Chuck whose family owned a local jewelry supply store (Makens, Sausalito, CA). Only making jewelry as gifts for family and friends at the time, I never took it to the next level. A few years ago, after helping my child make stamped aluminum bands and successfully selling them on Poshmark, the spark was back. Hence, I started building my studio and crafting jewelry again. My designs are inspired by the love of Big Sur and the Monterey Coast. With my new passion for Lapidary, I now create most of my pieces with hand-crafted stones, Sterling Silver and Gold.
